How to Get Support
Report issues, send feedback, and reach the Dialog Lab team.
In-app reporting
The fastest way to flag a problem with a conversation is from within the app:
- During a chat — open the menu (⋯) and choose Report Conversation.
- After a chat — complete or skip to the post-conversation review, then choose the report option.
You will be asked: “Please provide details about what happened. We will review this and the chat log as soon as possible.”
Include as much context as you can — what was said, when it happened, and why it concerned you. The team reviews reports along with the full conversation history.
What to include in a report
- A clear description of the issue.
- Whether it involved a specific message, a pattern of behavior, or a technical problem.
- The approximate time the conversation took place.
You do not need to screenshot individual messages — the chat log is available to the review team.
Reporting bugs
For crashes, UI glitches, or other technical problems:
- Screenshot the screen where you encountered the problem.
- Note your app version (shown in Profile → Account Preferences).
- Email spencer@joindialoglab.com with a short description of what went wrong.
You can also leave feedback through the App Store listing if that is easier for you.
Email the team
For general questions or issues outside a specific conversation, email spencer@joindialoglab.com.
Include your app version and a brief description of the problem.
Respect in conversations
Response expectations
Dialog Lab is a small team. We review reports as soon as possible, but response times may vary. Reports involving harassment or severe incivility are prioritized.
For step-by-step help using the app, start at Quick Start or browse the guides in the sidebar.
